Costa Rica - Byblos Resort & Casino

This hotel is about half way between the town of Quepos and the entrance to the National Park, so that was really convenient. We loved their restaurants, especially the one by the pool, which generally had monkeys or other exotic animals around it. We also enjoyed the staff which was very friendly and gave us great advice for which tours to take. We didn't use the casino, so no comment there, but we did enjoy that their was a Butterfly Reptile farm right next to the hotel, it was a great tour, and we only walked to it. Anyway, beyond the fact that we absolutely feel in love with Manuel Antonio (Costa Rica for that matter), we believe that this hotel came in as one of our favorites and all at a good value for what we were paying!

I recently stayed at this hotel with my two kids on an extended trip thru CR. What a wonderful find! Everyday the monkeys were all around the hotel, especially the pool which my kids loved. The pizza place there was delicious and with a refrigerator and a microwave oven in our room, the kids were always taken care of for food, so this was a huge burden off of me. The staff was very friendly and suggested the perfect age appropriate tours for my kids. For those looking for a good priced hotel with just what you need, and lots of animals, this should be perfect for your needs!
